Savant Appoints VP of Sales

Osterville, MA. September, 2008– Savant Systems LLC, having led the convergence of an open architecture platform to integrate automation and control, A/V switching, and general purpose computers, has announced the appointment of Ben Jamison as VP of Sales. Jamison brings a wealth of experience with high profile brands in the CEDIA marketplace and has produced growth for companies in both commercial and consumer markets.

"Ben has demonstrated that he has an in depth understanding of the CEDIA space as well as a clear track record of growing revenues," reported Savant president Jim Carroll. "We liked Ben's nearly 30 years of hands–on sales experience tied to everything from small start–up companies to large scale operations," Carroll added. Most recently, Jamison has held VP of sales and marketing positions with VIZIONWARE, Inc. and Runco International, where he was responsible for product planning, delivery to market, customer service programs, and other facets of brand promotion. "I am thrilled and very excited to become a part of the Savant organization," Jamison stated. "Their innovative and unique approach to system automation and A/V signal routing distribution offers significant value and opportunity in both the residential market as well as a host of commercial applications," added Jamison.

Jamison has also had substantive exposure to the commercial side of the electronics industry, having served as VP & General Manager of NEC's largest North American product division, a leading supplier of CRT, LCD/plasma flat panel, and projection display products. "As Savant eyes future growth opportunities for automation and control product technologies, we saw real value in the diversity of Ben's sales background and particularly his experience in commercial applications," concluded Jim Carroll.
